6 Foot Snake Found at Hyderabad Cop's Home

HYDERABAD: Tension gripped security staff and family of a senior police officer, as a six foot long snake entered his home in Lakdikapul on Sunday. However, a police constable caught the snake from additional director general of police, law and order, Sudeep Laktakia’s residence. According to sources, the snake entered the house on Sunday afternoon and though security staff saw the snake, they couldn’t catch it. They alerted Venkatesh Naik, a snake catcher and police constable of Chikkadapally police station, who later rescued the snake. It is said that the snake was non-venomous and was handed over to forest department.
