Hindu Janajagruti Samiti Stages Dharna at Hyderabad

HYDERABAD: Protesting against the clamour by Left forces for a ban on Hindu outfit Sanatan Sanstha, which is under scanner for its alleged role in the killing of rationalist Govind Pansare in Maharashtra, members of the Hindu Janajagruti Samiti’s Telangana state unit staged a dharna here on Sunday.

The Samiti leaders alleged that the Left, were ‘deliberately targeting’ Hindu outfits in the country to derive political mileage.

Speaking to press persons here Samiti convener Chetan Janardhan said: “Sameer Gaikwad of Sanatan Sanstha, arrested in connection with Pansare’s murder case, is still a suspect. By pointing to incidents such as these and seeking a ban on Hindu organisations does not augur well for the country.”

He demanded the Union government  to initiate action against institutions and media houses for ‘casting aspersions’ on Hindu outfits in the country.
