Netherland Delegation to Visit Hyderabad in October

A Netherlands delegation led by Jozias van Aartsen, Mayor of The Hague, will visit India from October 13 to 17.

HYDERABAD: A Netherlands delegation led by Jozias van Aartsen, Mayor of The Hague, will visit India from October 13 to 17. The delegation will tour Delhi and Hyderabad.

The delegation will participate in ‘The India Conference on Cyber Security and Internet Governance (CyFY 2015)’ in New Delhi.

“Netherlands, in particular The Hague, has created a niche for itself in the field of safety and security. We shall be happy to work with companies, knowledge institutes and government bodies in India to deal with the growing challenges in Cyber Security domain, besides offering inputs for the legal and regulatory framework,” Mayor Van Aartsen said explaining about the visit on Wednesday.

The aim of the delegation is closer cooperation and exchange of knowledge between The Hague and Indian government organisations, industry and research institutions. The delegation will present the Dutch approach to cyber security of close cooperation between government, business and science in order to combat cyber crime. They will also meet with representatives of Department of Electronics & Information Technology, NASSCOM.
