HYDERABAD: Chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao said that the statues of of Telangana stalwarts Suravaram Pratap Reddy, Rajabahadur Venkatram Reddy and Papi Narayana Reddy will be set up on Tank Bund, on Sunday.
“Reddy Jana Sangham (RJS) has been making relentless efforts for the education and empowerment of poor people for the past eight decades. Telangana government will provide all support for the activities of this organisation. Five acres of land and `10 crore will be allotted by the State for the construction of building for RJS, and for expansion of its activities,” said Chandrasekhara Rao speaking at the 75th foundation day celebrations of Reddy Jana Sangham in Hyderabad on Sunday.
Home minister N Narasimha Reddy, justice B Subhashan Reddy, Congress leader G Chinna Reddy and others were present on the occasion.
