HYDERABAD:A woman was strangulated by her husband in Dundigal police limits in Cyberabad on Saturday. According to police, one Nehru killed his wife Padma by strangulating her at their residence on Saturday morning. Police said the couple used to quarrel on petty issues. During one of the heated arguments, an irate Nehru strangulated her.
The neighbours who noticed the incident alerted the police. Police recovered the body and took custody of Nehru.
In another incident, a woman, who was hospitalised after receiving burn injuries died on Saturday at Gandhi General hospital.
According to police, one Nazeema Begum was set ablaze by her husband a week ago. The incident took place at Anjaiahnagar in Nallakunta police limits. She died while undergoing treatment.
