Youth Dies as Police Vehicle Hits Bike

HYDERABAD:A 24-year saloon shop owner, died after suffering a serious head injury after a speeding police vehicle hit the bike he was riding. The mishap took place at RD Function hall in Chatrinaka police limits on Sunday.

Tension gripped the locality as the family members  squatted in front of Chatrinaka police station and staged a dharna demanding action against the driver.

The deceased was identified as M Rajesh (24) of Gowlipura.

Around 7 a.m. on Sunday, Rajesh was proceeding towards his shop on his bike. As he reached RD Function hall, a speeding police vehicle coming from the opposite direction hit the bike. In the mishap, Rajesh fell down from the bike and received serious head injuries.
