Cop Held for Barging into Woman's House

HYDERABAD: A police constable allegedly trespassed into a woman’s residence in SR Nagar, on the pretext of serving a non-bailable warrent, on Monday night.

The accused Pratap Singh, a constable of Utkur police station in Mahbubnagar, was in the city on duty for the ongoing Andhra Pradesh assembly. At around 11.30 pm on Monday, Pratap, reached the house in SR Nagar. The woman on seeing the constable raised an alarm and

alerted by the screams, neighbours caught hold of the constable, and handed him over to police. SR Nagar police have registered a case. The police said that the accused and the woman knew each other.
