HYDERABAD: With an aim to spread awareness among local SMEs and sellers on the benefits of selling online, Amazon rolled out Amazon Chai Cart in the city recently.
Amazon Chai Carts will be stationed in markets of LB Nagar and Vanastali Puram today and Monda Market and MG Road Park Lane on Wednesday.
Under this, Amazon will deploy a three wheeler mobile cart called ‘Amazon Chai Cart’ to navigate in the city and serve tea, cold water and lemon juice to business owners, sellers, retailers and SMEs in that area.
An Amazon personnels will interact with sellers on the process of selling online and introduce them to seller-specific services.
Till now, they have served over 15,600 cups of chai, coffee and nimbu paani and had conversations with over thousands of sellers across the country.
Amazon is also making business easy for them by providing services like Easy Ship (an assisted shipping service), FBA (wherein Amazon packs, ships and delivers products to customers, manages returns and does customer service on behalf of the sellers), setting up of fulfilment centres, creating a network of third party service providers who can help sellers with launching, managing and growing their business on Amazon and helping sellers to develop skill-sets and tools so that they can grow profitably.
