HYDERABAD: If you are a pianist or love listening to piano, grab the opportunity to listen to veteran musician and well known pianist from Chennai Anil Srinivasan, who also released a piano-centric album ‘Touch’, live during a concert in the city on October 3.

The concert is a collaborative effort of Hyderabad Public School, Musee Musical and Hyderabad Western Music Foundation and is accompanied with a multimedia narrtive. It will be held at the school premises from 7:30 pm onwards.

Workshop on piano tuning

Dr Mark Lindley, a well-known piano tuner from the city, will also be conducting a workshop on piano tuning. This workshop will be about how pianos are normally tuned nowadays in ‘Equal Temperament’, dividing the octave into twelve equal semitones. An interactive session with Timothy Marthand and Akshay Adams will also be held simultaneously at Alliance Francaise on September 22 from 5 pm onwards.
