AMVI Lands in ACB Net

HYDERABAD: Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) officials arrested an assistant motor vehicle inspector, RTA, Medchal of Ranga Reddy district for taking a bribe of Rs 5,000.

According to ACB officials, D Venkateswarlu, assistant motor vehicle inspector, was caught red handed while accepting Rs 5,000 as bribe from the complainant to issue inspection report to a vehicle which was involved in a road accident.

The bribe amount of Rs 5,000 was recovered from the accused, who was arrested and produced before ACB special court.
