HYDERABAD: Trains, mostly MMTS were delayed for a few hours on Saturday due to derailment of a loco at Falaknuma Yard in the Old City.
One wheel of a loco at Falaknuma Yard derailed at around 4.50 am and was cleared at 7.20 am. Due to this, 15 MMTS trains were partially affected between Falaknuma-Kacheguda and Secunderabad. MMTS trains up to Falaknuma were partially cancelled and restricted to Kachiguda.
Several trains starting from Secunderabad and Kachiguda railways stations were also delayed. Work were completed and services were restored before noon.
