No Water Supply in Hyderabad Tomorrow

HYDERABAD: The Hyderabad Metro Water Supply and Sewerage Board plans a 24-hour shut-off of water supply in some parts of the city from 6 am on September 22 to 6 am of September 23.

Consequently, there will be no water supply to the areas of Rajeev Gruhakalpa at Almasguda, ARCI at Balapur, Babanagar, Pisalbanda, Riyasathnagar, Moinbagh, Fateh Shah Nagar, Shamshabad airport, Midhani, DRDL, RCI, CRPF, Uppuguda,Saibaba Nagar, Shivajinagar, Lalithabagh and GM Nagar under O&M Division No.II. The residents of the above areas have been requested to store water for the day.

The shutdown has become necessary to undertake plugging of leakages from the 1,600 mm dia PSC Ring Main-I of KDWSP Phase-II at different locations from Sahebnagar to Mailardevpally pumping station stretch.
