Two Held for Job Fraud

HYDERABAD: Chanderghat Police on Tuesday nabbed two persons who allegdly cheated 29 persons by issuing fake job visas. Mohammed Abdul Gafoor(42) and his nephew Syed Mukram(26), residents of Madannapet, with the help of Shakeel Shaik of Mumbai, forged visas and collected amounts from customers. The accused collected an amount of Rs 11,20,000/- from job aspirants providing fake visas. Police seized 19 passports, a computer and two mobile phones that were used to cmmit the offence. The complainant and four other victims approached police after they realised that they had been duped with visas to Malaysia and Saudi Arabia. The accused was arrested from a hotel in Malakept.
