HYDERABAD: After sending nearly 50 of its employees to the Art of Living centres in Bengaluru, the Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL) is planning to establish its own Art of Living Centers in the coal belt area for the benefit of its employees.
SCCL has been providing meditation and health care facilities to its employees by holding regular health camps. Recently, the company has sent nearly 50 employees to Bengaluru for training in Art of Living. Managers of various units of the company and members of labour unions have been sent to the training in the first two phases. After finding the sessions useful, the management now plans to set up its own Art of Living training centers in its units to provide Yoga and meditation facilities to its employees.
SCCL chairman and managing director N Sridhar has initiated several health schemes and encouraged the employees to make best use of the facilities, says a company press release.
