HYDERABAD: A husband, who appeared before court in connection with a harassment case filed by his wife, slitted his wife's throat in court premises and ran away from the place. The incident took place at local court in Rajendranagar police limits of Cyberabad today.
According to police, a couple Nagender Babu and his wife Soujanya were appeared before court for hearing arguments in connection with a harassment case that was filed by Soujanya.
After finished hearing in court Hall, the couple were coming out. As Soujanya was came out from court hall and was discussing with her family members at court premises, Nagender Babu who possessed a sharp knife slitted throat of Soujanya and ran away from the court.
Policemen posted inside court premises noticed incident and shifted Soujanya to nearby hospital. Her health condition is stated to be serious.
