HYDERABAD: Forest minister Jogu Ramanna has expressed displeasure at the failure of officials to gear up for the Harita Haaram programme which will commence this year in the first week of July. At a review meeting here on Saturday, the minister observed that the officials at district level failed to elicit the opinion of people on what type of plants they wanted to plant under Harita Haaram. The state planned to plant around 40 crore saplings this year under the programme.
