ACB Court Convicts Man in Bribery Case

HYDERABAD: The Special ACB court on Friday convicted a former senior officer of Drug Control and awarded a one-year rigorous imprisonment for accepting a bribe.

According to ACB officials, K Venkateshwarlu, a senior assistant, office  of the Director, Drugs Control, SR Nagar, was caught in 2010 while accepting a bribe of `4,500 from one Anjaneyulu for issuing of license for a medical shop.

The ACB officials had caught him red handed.
