HYDERABAD: A 17-year-old intermediate student hanged herself in the wee hours of Monday, after her parents allegedly scolded her for not going to college.
According to the Kushaiguda police, the victim was studying first year Intermediate in a private college at Neredmet. The girl was least interested in studies. For the last three months, the girl did not attend the college. On Sunday, her parents reportedly scolded her.
Depressed over this, she hanged herself from the ceiling in the house. The girl’s mother noticed the body in the morning, said the police, adding that a case of suspicious death has been registered.
