Two youths beaten up during religious procession

HYDERABAD: Two youngsters from Mettuguda were beaten by some locals when their bike hit another vehicle during a religious procession on Monday.
According to the Chilkalguda police, a huge rally was organised by people of a community in connection with a festival on Monday. During the rally, a bike on which two youngsters were traveling collided with another vehicle on the roadside.

The youngsters were intercepted by the locals and were beaten badly. The passersby rescued the youngsters and rushed them to Gandhi hospital for treatment and alerted the police.
Meanwhile, the police said that a case has been booked and investigation is underway.
