Food, Water Supplies Partially Resume

HYDERABAD: After two-days of facing inconvenience, more than 3,000 students of the University of Hyderabad (UoH) were in for some good news on Thursday as food and water facilities were partially restored in the campus.

Breakfast was served at a few Men and Women students’ messes, but not all. Water supply in bathrooms resumed.

Over 750 Non-teaching staff were on a strike protesting the ransacking carried out by students’ at the VC’s lodge on the varsity campus. This had led to a total cut off of all basic facilities.
