HYDERABAD: Police and Excise officials conducted a joint raid at the farm house of Tollywood actor Navdeep on Friday and reportedly found people indulging in obscene acts.

Acting on a tip-off, excise and police officials raided the farm house located at Chakrapally village in Mominpet police limits of Ranga Reddy district on Friday night.

Cases were registered against the farm house owner, and event organiser Satya Suryanarayana but the celebrities including Navdeep, who attended the party were said to be absconding.

Reports also suggested that large amounts of foreign liquor has been seized from the venue by the police.

Rave.jpg“As per Excise rules and regulations, permission has to be taken from the authorities if there is a gathering of more than 20 persons. However, in this case, there was no such permission taken from the authorities. We also found many liquor bottles from the farm house along with the DJ system. The arrested event organiser will be produced before the court in connection with the case,” said the Inspector.

Meanwhile, the tollywood actor took to social media site twitter to vent out his anguish over the issue  stating  that he went to the farm house to celebrate a house warming function along with friends and family members.

“I was with my mother in the farm house. We did not indulge in any rave party in the farm house,’’ the actor said.

It may be noted that controversy is not something new to Navdeep, who on an earlier occasion too, has been booked for driving under influence.
