The ongoing torrential rains, which have been pounding the twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad for the past one week, have taken a on this building, which has been serving as a landmark for the local people in Secunderabad, ever since 1900.

As the ancient building, which houses the police station, is on the verge of collapse, Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) authorities have begun the process of getting the premises of this heritage structure vacated.

Animal Husbandry minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav visited the police station on Friday afternoon and inspected the building. After interacting with the police personnel there, he asked them to immediately vacate the building.
