TRS leader among 4 booked for bar owner’s suicide

HYDERABAD: Vanasthalipuram police registered abetment to suicide cases against four persons including ruling TRS party local leaders for allegedly demanding mamools from a bar and restaurant owner that led him to commit suicide by hanging to ceiling at his bar. 

Two days ago, one Banti, owner of High King bar committed suicide by hanging himself to the ceiling and the entire episode was recorded on his phone. He took a selfie video stating that he was harassed by four persons from the ruling TRS local leaders in Vanasthalipuram demanding monthly mamools for running bar in the locality. As he refused to pay the amount, four persons threatened him not to run his business. Two days ago, the four persons met Banti at his bar. Later, Banti took the extreme step. Based on the video footage, police registered the case.
