GHMC asks traders to renew licences

Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation issued instructions to traders in to renew their trade licence for the year 2017-2018 on or before April 30 in any e-seva centres or CSCs here.

HYDERABAD: Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) issued instructions to traders its limits to renew their trade licence for the year 2017-2018 on or before April 30 in any e-seva centres, Citizen Service Centres (CSCs) in GHMC.

It said that those who have not obtained the trade licence so far are required to apply online, or approach any e-seva centres, CSCs or head office and circle offices. Traders should obtain trade licences as required under section 521 and 622 of GHMC Act, 1955.

The trader who renew their licence between May 1 and June 30 have to pay 25 per cent licence fee as penalty and those who renew from July 1 onwards they have to pay 50 per cent licence fee as penalty in addition to the original trade licence fee.

In this connection, all the traders should avail opportunity to obtain trade licence by placing online applications for obtaining provisional trade licence certificate immediately from e-seva or CSCs. Further information can be obtained from GHMC website www.ghmc.gov.in.
