Hyderabad airport on revamp mode

The airport has increased X-ray machines and security check lanes for domestic passengers by 40 percent.

HYDERABAD: The Rajiv Gandhi International airport managing authority will deploy 50 Passenger Service Associates to provide assistance to passengers with special needs such as expecting mothers, women travelling with infants, senior citizens among others.

The airport has increased X-ray machines and security check lanes for domestic passengers by 40 percent. To improve passenger management during peak hours it has opened a central gate at departure terminal. RGIA has also installed two Common Use Self Service machines at Airport Novotel Hotel allowing passengers there to check in before they check out from the hotel.
