HYDERABAD: The land owners who lost their lands due to land acquisition for Musi conservation and riverfront development at Uppal Bhagath village in Uppal mandal in Rangareddy district were allotted 444 developed plots by the Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) on Sunday.
Plots measuring about 600 sq yds were allotted to 115 persons, 500 sq yd plots to 176 persons and 300 sq yd plots to 153 persons.

The allotment programme was presided over by HMDA metropolitan commissioner T Chiranjeevulu and city mayor Bonthu Rammohan. The mayor visited the Survey of India auditorium to witness the allotment, addressed the farmers and took part in the draw of lots.

Further, the allottees of reconstituted developed plots in Uppal Bhagath Layout were informed that allotment of plots measuring 250 sq yds, 200 sq yds and 150 sq yds plots through draw of lots would be taken up on April 4 at the same auditorium.  

Authorised persons (allottees) can witness the lottery and allotment with their Adhaar card and one passport size photo for getting admission to the hall. HMDA member (estates) B Rajesham, land acquisition officer Gangadhar and other officials of HMDA were present during the draw of lots.
