  Bollywood star and fitness enthusiast Deepika Padukone talks about her fitness regimen and morning grub

How do you stay fit?
I eat and that’s the first myth I’d like to break. I love eating. I don’t skip my meals, especially breakfast as it forms a very important part of my eating regime. I follow a daily exercise regime as well.

How do you keep your hunger pangs at bay during long shooting hours?
I do not deprive myself of food but eat frequent small meals. I follow a balanced meal plan. I work out regularly and ensure I stay fit. And I start my day with a nourishing breakfast that is the most important meal of the day.

What is your morning ritual? 
Ans: I never leave home without having a nourishing breakfast. I always plan my day so as to give myself time for my workout routine and my breakfast.

Tip for all the girls want to become as fit as you
Ans: Do not starve yourself. Eat right to manage your weight and make breakfast eating a daily habit. Stay active and exercise everyday; be it a jog or cycling or a sport - whatever interests you. Start these things today. Don’t postpone this to tomorrow. Start with what you can. Keep stress away.
