April to continue to sizzle in Hyderabad

HYDERABAD: Adilabad recorded the highest day temperature in April in 10 years when the mercury soared to 44.4 degrees Celsius on Sunday. The maximum temperature recorded till now was 43.5 degrees Celsius.

In Hyderabad the maximum temperature was recorded at 42.4 degree Celsius on Sunday, close to the highest April temperature of 43 degree Celsius in the last 10 years in 2016. The IMD said that heatwave conditions were likely to prevail at isolated places in north Telangana on Monday and that the maximum temperatures would be above normal by 2 to 4 degree Celsius.
