Heatwave conditions to persist in city, parts of Telangana

Hyderabad city recorded a maximum temperature of 43 degree Celsius on Monday. Mahbubnagar recorded the highest temperature in Telangana at 44.5 degree Celsius followed by Adilabad.

HYDERABAD: Hyderabad city recorded a maximum temperature of 43 degree Celsius on Monday. Mahbubnagar recorded the highest temperature in Telangana at 44.5 degree Celsius followed by Adilabad.

The normal maximum temperature was predicted as 39.3 degree Celsius. Adilabad district, which recorded the highest day temperature in April in 10 years on Sunday, fell a bit and recorded 44 degree Celsius on Monday.

Medak recorded 43.3 degree Celsius which Nalgonda recorded 42.6 degree Celsius. Khammam and Ramagundam recorded 42.4 degree Celsius.  

Heatwave conditions were witnessed in Mahbubnagar and Khammam districts. The Indian Meteorological Department states that dry weather is likely to prevail in the state for few more days.
