KOCHI: The KSRTC bus stand at Ernakulam sported a clean and tidy look after the Amritanandamayi Math voluntary workers carried out cleaning work as a part of the Amrita Math Amala Bharatham project.

The commuters were surprised to find the workers, including doctors, removing the waste accumulated on the premises of the stand.

The students of various institutes under the Amrita Math management, faculties and brahmacharis took part in the cleanliness drive.Mayor Tony Chammany inaugurated the programme. Deputy Mayor Bhadra Satheesh was present on the occasion.
