A team of MBA Students from Sree Narayana Gurukulam College of Engineering (SNGCE) - Arun Kurian, Avanish M R, Renjith Padmanabhan and Divya K Joy - won the third best overall awards at The Young Indians (Yi) National Innovation Run - Road 2 Ideas. The first and seocnd prizes were won by teams from Mudra Institute of Communications, Ahmedabad. The SNGCE team also won two more awards - most popular team and best case study presentation. As many as 12 teams from colleges across the country took part in the run where they met 12 innovators from Indore, Vadodara, Pune and Goa. Two teams from SNGCE and TocH Institute of Science and technology had participated from Kochi.
“The visits were very inspiring and it is amazing to see people who have risen from scratch and are now so successful,” said Arun Kurian, Captain, team SNGCE. “The whole ideaÂ about Road 2 ideasÂ is to enable young minds to explore and meet individuals who have daredÂ of thinking out of the box, to introduce them to entrepreneurship and also gauge theÂ impact of the innovation to the community and industry,” said Navita Mahajan, chairperson, Road2 Ideas, CII’s Young Indians.
