Natarajan’s rally flagged off to Thiruvananthapuram

The bicycle journey of Natarajan, of Udayamperoor, to Thiruvananthapuram was flagged off by Justice V R Krishna Iyer on Wednesday.

Natarajan is travelling to the state capital on the bicycle to meet Chief Minister Oommen Chandy to submit a memorandum which includes 24 demands.

Fr John Pudua presided over the function which was inaugurated by Justice P K Shamsuddin. The demands include ban on alcohol, installation of waste treatment plants in all panchayats and municipalities, ensuring the safety of the labourers working at the Indian Oil Corporation bottling plant in Udayamperoor and ensuring social justice.
