A case has been registered against actor Mohanlal, director Major Ravi and producer Haneef Muhammed for displaying cigar, a tobacco product, in the promotions of the film ‘Karmayodha’. District Health Officer P N Sreenivasan registered a case on behalf of the district administration and the Health Department, as neither the producer or the director removed the controversial billboards, despite a case being registered in Thiruvananthapuram last week. The Health Department has started removing the billboards across the state.
