Preparations for the One-day International match between India and England has been completed, said Kerala Cricket Association (KCA) officials.

According to them, this is the second-fastest ticket sale recorded in the  history of Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium.

The fastest sale happened during India-Pakistan match that took place at April 2005.

KCA secretary T C Mathew said tickets worth `1.5 crore have been  sold and tickets worth `25 lakhs are left for sale. They are available at KCA office in Kochi. The online ticket sale ended on Sunday.

According to the officials, the stadium would be jam-packed and the weather  is expected to be favourable on the day of the match. “We expect the match to be a great success. It would be good experience for the cricket fans in the state,” T C Mathew said.
