KMA annual meet from February 7

The 32nd annual conference of the Kerala Management Association (KMA) would be held on February 7 and 8. The two-day event, to be held at the Le Meridien Convention Centre, would be attended by prominent figures in the industrial sector and around 1,000 delegates.

Union Minister of State for Commerce and Industry D Purandeswari will inaugurate the conference. ‘Sustainability and Development in the Age of Challenges’ is the theme of the conference. Hindustan Unilever Ltd managing director and chief executive officer Nitin Paranjpe and  BASF India Ltd south India head Prasad Chandran would be present at the function, said KMA president S R Nair.

World Bank director in India Onno Ruhl, Times of India group executive director and chief operating officer Shrijeet Mishra and Maruti Suzuki (India) and chief operating officer S Y Siddiqui will speak at the morning session on February 8. GlaxoSmithKline (India) chairman and managing director Hashit Joshipura, Jyoti Laboratories Ltd joint managing director Ullas Kamath and  Kellogg’s (India) managing director Sangeeta Pendurkar will speak at the afternoon session.

Kivar Group chairman Subhash Menon, Tax and Regulatory Services partner K T Chandy, HR director of ONGC K S Jamestin, Rajeev Sreenivasan of IIM Bangalore and Coca Cola vice-president Sumanta Dutt will speak in the panel discussion.
