Miss you Sachin...

The cricket fans who are expecting a  high voltage clash between India and England  on Tuesday say that they will surely miss master blaster Sachin Tendulkar, as Kochi has been the venue for Sachin’s best bowling performance in ODIs.

The majority of fans believe that whether Sachin is playing or not, his presence alone will do wonders. It is like God’s presence which does  miracles. That is our belief. He is a legend  and will be sorely missed,” said Ananthakrishna, a software professional.

He believes that cricket fans all over the world will miss the hero who has recently retired from ODIs. “Without Sachin, the game of cricket will lose its shine,” he said.

Sachin played four out of the six matches in Kochi and his highest score here is 26 runs against South Africa. But had twice registered five-wicket haul in Kochi, against Australia and Pakistan. “If Sachin was here, no doubt the greatest cheer would have been for the master blaster. He is unmatchable,” said Neeraj Narayan, a B-Tech student.

Sudhir Kumar Chaudhary, a fan who goes for every home match India plays, will be seen in Kochi too with tri-colour painted on his body with the name of Sachin Tendulkar written on it and waving the national flag.

Chaudhary was seen waving the national flag  during Indian team’s practice session on Monday. When asked whether he will miss Sachin, Choudhary said that the entire cricketing world will miss the legend.

“I will continue painting the name of Sachin on my body to show respect to the master batsman who gifted us several moments of pride in his ODI journey,” Choudhary said.
