Aptitude test to be held for SSLC students: Rabb

To help students pursue subjects related to their skill, an aptitude test would be conducted for students appearing in the SSLC examination this year, Education Minister Abdu Rabb has said.

Arrangements for conducting the tests have been completed by the State Institute of Educational Technology(SIET). The test would help evaluate the skill, aptitude and personality of students and guide them to pursue apt courses for higher studies and choose the right career. The registration for the examination would commence on January 21.

The 90-minute examination would be conducted online and the candidates can take the test either in English or Malayalam.

The language skills, learning capability, memory, thinking and imaginative powers of students would be evaluated through the test.

The initiative would help tap into the human resource potential of the state in a better way, said SIET director Babu Sebastian.
