Cheenavala Restaurant of Hotel Yuvarani Residency hosts a Puttu Festival that has some speciality preparations like Erachi Puttu, Chakka Puttu, Puttu Biriyani and Avil Mix Puttu.
Kappa Puttu made from grated kappa, grated coconut and salt mixed and steamed in a puttu vessel goes well with beef, pork, and chickpeas curries. Another delicious item is Erachi Puttu, a non vegetarian delicacy.
Puttu Biriyani is another item prepared with chicken or beef, masalas and boiled egg.The festival offers a combination of non vegetarian choices like Duck, Chicken, Crab, Prawns, Chaala, Ayala, Beef and Karimeen which will be served along with a portion of Puttu. Three varities of puttu, Ari puttu, Chembavari Puttu and Chiratta Puttu are there in the menu. Timings are from 7pm to 11pm.
