Cusat is all geared up for Sargam-13, the varsity’s youth festival, which was inaugurated by Vice-Chancellor Ramachandran Thekkedath on Tuesday. The campus is set to come alive with a multitude of colourful programmes and fierce contests. Singer Sithara was the chief guest at the inaugural function.
The five-day festival commenced with ‘thiruvathirakali.’ From Wednesday, competitions in various events will be held. As part of the inaugural function, a procession was carried out from Polytechnic College, HMT to the Cusat campus, which saw the participation of many students. Kathakali, kavadiyattam and sinkari melam were also the main attractions on the opening day. The valedictory function will be held on Saturday.
