Desmond Tutu joins anti-tobacco campaign

Nobel Laureate Archbishop Desmond Tutu and Nancy Elizabeth joined the anti-tobacco campaign run by Justice K Narayana Kurup, the other day. The duo, who arrived Kochi on the ship ‘Explorer’ voiced their support to the campaign.

Later, the Archbishop has sent a message to Justice Kurup appreciating his work on anti-tobacco cause.

In his message, he mentioned that it has been an honour to work with Kurup in his campaign against a destructive habit like tobacco.  He also congratulated Kurup for his dedication in bringing an end to the damaging effects of tobacco use.
