Centre for legal study

C K Chandrappan Centre For Social Justice, a centre for study and research in law will be inaugurated by S Sudhakar Reddy all-India general secretary of CPI on Thursday  at EMS Town Hall at 4 pm.

The function will be presided over by advocate P K Chithrabanu. The centre is being set up on behalf of the Indian Association of Lawyers with a view to raising the legal literacy of the public. It was noted that even Parliament is passing the laws which has serious implications without dialogue and the courts pronouncing judgments which help the capitalist forces. On this occasion it has become urgent that the legislation and the pronouncement of judgments be subject to open discussion and analysis. It was announced in a press meet attended by A Jayasankar, the general secretary(IAL), P Azeez and TRS Kumar.
