Music straight from the heart

Heart Care Foundation is organising a musical evening ‘Hridyam’ in connection with the release of the educational audio video album ‘Mi Corazon’ on Saturday at the Durbar Hall auditorium in Kochi at 6.30 pm.

Union Minister for Oversees Indian Affairs Vayalar Ravi will inaugurate the event by releasing the video CD. Actor Suresh Gopi will also be present on the occasion.

The brand ambassadors of the foundation are Kunchako Boban and cricketeer S Sreesanth.

The CD aims at educating people about organ donation, basic life support and also to inculcate charity among young minds. 

Kochouseph Chittilappilly of the V Guard Group will deliver the message of organ donation. Film directors Kamal, Siddhique and playback singers Afsal and Ansal will be present at the function.

Other dignitaries expected to attend the event include Mayor Tony Chammany, District Collector P I Sheik Pareeth, journalist Leela Menon, footballer I M Vijayan and actors Lalu Alex and Anoop Menon.

The programme is open to all, said Jose Chacko Periappuram, chairman of the Heart Care Foundation.
