KMRL meet on traffic diversions today

The KMRL will hold a high-level meeting on Tuesday at its office to finalise the traffic diversions in connection with the construction works of the Kochi Metro Rail, which will be started soon.

The meeting will be chaired by KMRL MD Elias George and will be attended by Ernakulam District Collector P I Sheik Pareeth, Kochi Range IG Padmakumar, City Police Commissioner K G James, Aluva Rural SP Satheesh Bino and DMRC officials. The meeting will discuss various options of diverting traffic so that it can be planned and managed better during the construction phase, with minimum hindrance to public.
