The Forum of Free Enterprise has announced the winners of the All-India Essay Competition for the year 2012-13.
Tonmoy Barua of Motilal Nehru College, New Delhi, has been awarded the first prize in the competition. Rochelle A fernandez of St Xavier’s College, Mumbai, won the second prize and Prageeyaa Khanna of Shri Parle Kelavani Mandal’s Pravin Gandhi College of Law, Mumbai, bagged the third prize.
The subject for the competition was ‘The Role of Civil Society in the Development of India’. The competition was organised by the Forum on a pan-India basis with an objective to encourage college students to analyse, think and write on topical economic subjects. Consolation prizes will be given to Farha Tabassum of Badruka College PG Centre, Hyderabad, Gaurav Pant of College of Technology (GBPUAT), Uttarakhand, and Ashutosh K R Pandey of BITS Pilani, Rajasthan.
