Perunthachan to be staged on Thursday

In connection with weekly drama festival conducted by Kerala Sangeetha Nataka Akademi and Kerala Fine Arts society, Perunthachan will be staged at Fine Arts Hall on Thursday at 6.45 pm.

The drama narrates the story of the legendary master carpenter ‘Perunthachan’ who is a pious and self-disciplined man who was regarded as the architect with magical hands.

The drama is scripted by Hemanth Kumar and directed by Manoj Narayanan.

Manoj Narayanan has won the Sangeetha Nataka Akademi best director award for his play Nellu earlier. Kadathanattamma and Varthamanathilekkoru Kannaki are some other famous plays directed by Manoj. Perunthachan is presented by Valluvanadu Nadam Communications. Registration fee is Rs 20.
