The Grand Kerala Festival that will be held in Dubai this September will mainly focus on the special session, ‘Invest in Kerala’. The major idea behind the session is to project in front of the world the investment opportunities in the State.
“The investment- friendly atmosphere and various opportunities and scope of investment in the state will be displayed to the overseas community with the help of various government departments and public sector units during the festival,” according to an official statement issued here.
Apart from Invest in Kerala, the other major highlights of the Grand Kerala Festival are the themes including Discover Kerala, Taste Kerala and Enjoy Kerala. Under the Discover Kerala theme, the focus will be on heritage, ayurveda, tourism and education sector. Major construction companies, hotels, ayurveda centres, resorts and educational institutions will display the services and products offered by them at the 40 stalls that will be set up at the venue.
The taste of Kerala dishes will be highlighted through the session Taste Kerala. Visitors will be provided with an opportunity to taste the traditional delicacies of the Malabar, Kochi and Travancore regions.
The art forms of Kerala will be on display in the Enjoy Kerala session. Talented and prominent artistes from the state will take part in the Enjoy Kerala session.
