Justice V R Krishna Iyer has sought the intervention of Chief Minister Oommen Chandy in the issue of closing down of five dialysis units at the Cooperative Medical College. “The Cooperative Medical College, with little concern for the welfare of the people, has stopped five dialysis units putting the poor with no alternative to death, since they cannot afford to go anywhere else. The government should take immediate action,” he said.
