The Kerala branch of the Doctor of Pharmacy Association (DOPA) will hold a one-day seminar on ‘Doctor of Pharmacy Education: Global Vs Indian Scenario’ at Hotel Gee Bee Palace auditorium in Angamaly on Thursday.
The DOPA is a professional organisation of pharmacy practitioners, teachers and students in the country. On this occasion, a study paper entitled ‘PharmD Education in India: Its prospects and challenges’ by K G Revikumar, director, KMSCL Institute for Drug Studies, will be released. Kerala University of Health Sciences’ Pro-Vice Chancellor C Retnakaran will inaugurate the function. Anwar Sadath MLA will preside over. DOPA president Justin Kurian, K P Dhanapalan MP, Hibi Eden MLA, Kerala Pharmacy Council president B Rajan, Kerala Deputy Drugs Controller M R Pradeep, K S Gopakumar, Bijo Alexander and Revikumar will also speak.
