The State Bank of Travancore (SBT) has donated financial aid for providing beds and pillows to the inmates of Sri Karthika Thirunal Lekshmi Bayi Geriatric Centre, Thiruvananthapuram.
SBT Managing Director Sajeev Krishnan handed over the financial assistance to K P Sukumaran, president of the centre.
SBT Chief General Manager E K Harikumar, General Managers A N Krishnan and S Harisankar secretary of the Geriatric Centre C G Nandakumar, and Palace Administrator S Babu Narayanan also attended the function. The centre was established in 1976 and has 31 inmates at present.
