Film fest concludes

The two-day Don Bosco International Film Festival organised by Don Bosco IMAGE media education centre, Rotary Club of Cochin Downtown and Alfa Foundation, concluded.

Film director Lijo Jose Pellissery inaugurated the awards function. ‘The Tribute’ by Jerin James won the award for best fiction and ‘The Life Behind the Bricks’ by Ashutosh Kumar Gupta won the award for best documentary. ‘Kotti’ by Santhosh Peringeth won the award for best film and ‘Nammaliloral’ by Rajesh Prem won the viewers’ rating award. Special jury awards were given away to ‘The Bet’ by Viplab Majumder, ‘Athe Karanatha’ by Jeevas Raveendran and ‘Katha Thudarunnu’ by Bastin Nellissery. Over 50 films and 10 classics were shown at the two-day international fest.
